Description
Designed and conceived by Romola Jain in Saharanpur , the large sculpted palette Kit n’ Kif brings together the best of Indian craftsmanship and the sensitivity of a contemporary artist.
Each piece is hand-carved from solid teak , known for its strength and elegant natural patina.
The lid, sculpted with traditional floral motifs, reveals a waterproof gilt brass plate , seven pre-filled cavities , and a compartment for a reservoir brush .
Romola envisioned this palette as a symbolic object , both useful and timeless: a handcrafted treasure to be kept, cherished, and passed down.
She deeply believes that objects crafted with care and soul can travel through time , from hand to hand, from artist to artist.
Compact and pre-filled with 7 extra-fine watercolors , this palette is designed as an object to be lived in and passed down .
Each person can one day offer it in turn — from generation to generation .
